Because I'm the n00b, I don't know what has been put up here and what hasn't.

Have you guys heard of this game? A friend of mine got me to take a 2 hour break from schoolwork to check it out. It's pretty fun, though it takes a little getting used to. Love how you can have dual primary weps.

It's still being developed, but very obviously CS is a very heavy influence. So far I've played elimination (team deathmatch basically), one man army (straight dm), and CTF. Supposedly there's objective gameplay too, but I haven't played long enough to find it yet.

yup, woop, me, bP, joe and others have played it. its very very buggy :(, and lots of lag.(due to the fact that you can be playing agianst people all over the world) its fun to go in and just kill people, but i didnt' get to attached to it. until they fix things such as that. plus the whole having to buy guns each time is ruff . But if u get on sometime i'll play with u

and fyi. NEXON is the company that bought the rights to counterstrike source. and are the ones developing counter-strike online, so that woudl explain why combatarms is so influenced :)

The thing I don't like about it is that you can only rent weapons and not purchase them. And you have to play a shitload of games to rent a full loadout.

The gameplay was fun though, even if it was laggier than other games.

I just played this weekend, and I didn't really notice any lag. Also, the base loadout that you can carry is pretty solid. I was carrying an awp, a colt, standard pistol and standard nades and I tore shit up.

hrm they must have changed things up a bit then war. cause back when i was playing, a basic loadout got u an awp, and that was it lol
